Gather the dimensions, depths, edge system and intended use. Review the plant-room location, pipe routes and connected equipment. This information gives a specialist the basis for assessing circulation and filtration requirements.
Select the pump and filter together
The pump and filter must operate compatibly within the system design. A larger pump or a familiar brand name alone does not establish a good match. Compare performance information, filter requirements, pipework and connected equipment when reviewing options.
Allow for operation and servicing
Plant-room space and access to valves and filters affect ongoing operation and maintenance. Allow the access required for inspection and servicing, and coordinate installation with equipment instructions. A good selection needs an organised installation and proper commissioning.
Replacing existing equipment
